Le Coupe de la Montagne 2003

The fifth Mountain Cup, the best yet! More competitors than any Cup since 1999 and a whirlwind of events, socializing, and skating. Everyone should come to the Cup at least once in their lives, there's nothing like it (except maybe Atlanta, and no, AN is completely different).

left, we all know the chaos and ecstatic feeling when the event is done.. Carmen O'Dell with Cynthia Gonzales, Janine Davis and Liz McGlaughlin, Piret Valamaa hugging Barb Winkler, and Pascaline Fougerouse stepping off the ice. Piret yet again, but for a reason - she's with Tuan Tu Ho from Viet Nam, both recipients of financial assistance from the Mountain Cup Fund this year. For those that don't know, Barbara Standke and I collect money from adult skaters all year to help defray expenses for adult athletes from developing nations to attend the Mountain Cup. Piret and Tu can now help spread the word about the Cup in different parts of the world, expanding our horizons - and, they both skated well and had a blast! Right, Rowena Sirey with her mirror image in the hockey glass and a flattering shot of Annabel in the background...
