Favorite Vacations:

Bliss Fest - every summer for the past few years, a weekend in mid-July near Cross Village, Michigan, filled with traditional music, dancing, camping, good food, late night jam sessions, open-mike jitters, sun, rain, great people, and great attitude.

Canadian Rockies - A few days in mid-September 1988? backpacking by myself up into some of the most beautiful mountain/glacier scenery I could imagine.

Many visits to my brother's place in Durango, Colorado. Skiing, rock climbing, and the joy of simply hanging out in their solar wood-everywhere home enclosed in a beautiful tree/mountain/clear-blue atmosphere that just doesn't sustain any kind of stress.

Sailing the Virgin Islands - accompanying my parents on a 30-some foot sloop taking in the beauty, the wind, the see-through water, the snorkeling of the islands.

While growing up, many other wonderful sailing adventures around the Chesapeake Bay, the Thousand Islands. Also, many great times spent at my Aunt & Uncle's cabin on Lake Wallenpaupak in Pennsylvania.
