More aluminum electrolytic capacitor suppliers: AXBOOM, CH, PolyCap and other product portfolios

Twelve additional manufacturers or groups expand the combined aluminum electrolytic capacitor index to 26, covering package formats, electrolyte technologies and circuit applications.

More aluminum electrolytic capacitor suppliers: AXBOOM, CH, PolyCap and other product portfolios

Engineers expanding an aluminum electrolytic capacitor shortlist can find considerable variety beyond China's best-known brands. Some manufacturers cover small lighting-supply components through large screw-terminal capacitors. Others concentrate on conductive polymer, stacked chip construction or hybrid families differentiated by mounting format and operating temperature.

This supplement adds 12 manufacturers or corporate groups to the 14 covered in our previous article, bringing the combined index to 26. Eight additions are based in mainland China; four are Taiwan-based entries. JAMICON and TEAPO are counted as one merged corporate group while retaining their separate brands. The review follows product categories so readers can identify catalog sections and prepare sample requests.

Eight mainland suppliers

1. AXBOOM, CH and OKCAP expand power-supply sourcing options

AXBOOM (Anxing Electronics) describes a manufacturing chain extending from electrolyte development and electrode foil to finished capacitors. Its catalog covers small radial, surface-mount and snap-in products. This combination gives buyers both material and finished-component operations to assess when reviewing the supplier.

A Yiyang government report from April 2026 describes its local factory producing 250 V screw-terminal aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The example extends the discussion beyond small lighting and adapter components into larger terminal formats. A sample request for such parts should specify DC-bus voltage, ripple conditions and mounting constraints.

CH (Chuanghui Electronics) lists liquid-electrolyte radial, surface-mount, snap-in, screw-terminal and solid types. A manufacturer application case published in January 2026 identifies 400 V 47 μF and 400 V 56 μF filtering capacitors, together with a 50 V 10 μF controller-supply capacitor, in a TORRAS 67 W charger.

That charger illustrates two different selection tasks. The input stage needs energy storage and filtering within a small enclosure; the controller supply has its own auxiliary-voltage and operating requirements. The case can guide a sample inquiry, while any detailed comparison of the two high-voltage parts' frequency behavior requires their impedance curves.

OKCAP adds broad package coverage. Its 2026 lighting-exhibition material lists small aluminum electrolytic, surface-mount, snap-in, screw-terminal and stud types for lighting drivers, adapters, fast chargers, UPS systems and photovoltaic inverters. Buyers covering both small supplies and large DC-bus components can search its catalog by package family.

For these overlapping portfolios, a useful comparison begins with the component's circuit position. Specify size, voltage and ripple requirements before comparing part numbers, so quotations and samples address the same operating problem.

2. Gree Xinyuan and TOPAZCON add appliance and industrial-supply routes

Gree Xinyuan, a wholly owned Gree Electric subsidiary in Zhuhai, develops and manufactures aluminum electrolytic capacitors, metallized film capacitors and IPM power modules.

Gree's 2026 interim report describes optimization of electrolyte for high-ripple appliance applications. It also states that aluminum electrolytic products for automotive onboard chargers and photovoltaics had entered small-batch verification and production. The disclosed stage makes it a supplier to investigate for those applications, with qualification results, production-line details and supply arrangements to be checked for the target part.

TOPAZCON covers very small components as well as power-supply formats. Its official September 2026 exhibition material includes screw-terminal, snap-in, low-ESR, high-temperature long-life and polymer solid products. These categories provide separate entry points for input storage, auxiliary supplies and output filtering.

A specific recent example is SS-series ESS1H3R3M030500B, rated 3.3 μF / 50 V, with nominal dimensions of 3 mm diameter by 5 mm height. The manufacturer's approval document dated March 16, 2026 provides dimensional tolerances, electrical characteristics and test conditions. It illustrates a board-space constraint that can be as decisive as capacitance or voltage.

Package and electrolyte should be recorded separately. Surface-mount describes installation; solid describes the electrolyte system. A supplier can offer both liquid-electrolyte and solid surface-mount capacitors, so either label alone leaves part of the sourcing question unanswered.

3. PolyCap, KNSCHA and HONOR broaden board-level choices

PolyCap (Boruikai) divides its conductive-polymer solid products into radial, surface-mount and stacked chip categories, and lists hybrid products separately. These are relevant catalog routes for board power, height constraints and low-impedance requirements.

Each structure requires its own mechanical checks. Radial parts need lead pitch and height information; cylindrical surface-mount parts need land patterns and reflow conditions; stacked chip products require evaluation of board thickness and connection structure. ESR and ripple-current requests should include test frequency and temperature so supplier responses can be compared consistently.

KNSCHA describes manufacturing and development of aluminum electrolytic, solid, supercapacitor and film products in its official exhibitor material. This article focuses on the aluminum electrolytic and solid categories. Buyers using several capacitor types can investigate it as an additional manufacturer, while requesting specifications by circuit duty.

HONOR provides catalog entries for surface-mount aluminum electrolytic, polymer solid, small radial, snap-in, solder-lug and screw-terminal products. Its surface-mount categories further distinguish low impedance, low leakage, long life, wide temperature and medium/high voltage. Control-board and auxiliary-supply developers can use those categories to narrow the search before requesting current part documentation.

This expanded directory supports sample requests for board revisions. Screening electrical requirements together with package constraints produces a more useful comparison than capacitance alone. A change in electrolyte technology also calls for evaluation of the supply's control loop, startup and transient behavior.

4. Taiwan-based additions: JAMICON/TEAPO, Su'scon, APAQ and Chinsan

JAMICON / TEAPO should be understood as one corporate group in this count. JAMICON's corporate history records the 2019 merger with TEAPO, while products retain different brands. Its 2026 product table covers liquid-electrolyte, conductive-polymer solid and hybrid devices across surface-mount, radial, snap-in and screw-terminal formats.

The hybrid table provides a useful comparison. YD and YS are standard surface-mount and radial families respectively; YA and YX are listed at 125°C; YB and YE cover 135°C high-temperature categories. Engineers can screen mounting style and temperature class first, then review part-specific capacitance, dimensions and ripple conditions.

Su'scon offers liquid and semi-solid/solid catalog routes with voltage, capacitance and temperature filters. Its public application categories include renewable energy, automotive electronics, appliances, industrial control, communications and medical equipment. It adds another supplier for inquiries involving comparable liquid-electrolyte or hybrid parts.

APAQ concentrates more heavily on conductive polymer. Its portfolio includes AP-CON radial and surface-mount, AP-CAP stacked chip, end-electrode chip, and radial and surface-mount hybrid products. Its 2025 annual report describes 2026 R&D directions for AI servers, power supplies, vehicles and notebooks, including small and thin formats, high ripple, low ESR and stacked construction. These disclosures describe development priorities rather than establishing mass production for every planned product.

Chinsan lists liquid-electrolyte radial, surface-mount, snap-in/tab and screw-terminal capacitors, together with polymer solid and hybrid types. Its range lets buyers search large input-storage components and board-level filtering parts within one catalog, then compare the relevant category with other manufacturers.

Combined supplier index

Figure 4. The combined two-article index. Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan entries are identified separately; JAMICON/TEAPO is counted as one group. The index supports product searches and is not a ranking.

Across the two articles, the shortlist expands from 14 to 26 entries. Input energy storage can begin with liquid-electrolyte radial, snap-in or screw-terminal families. Board output filtering can compare low-impedance liquid, solid and hybrid devices, while thin boards may also justify evaluating stacked chip structures. Different circuit positions within one project can use different supplier combinations.

To turn the index into a project sourcing tool, record the existing part number, operating conditions, dimensional limits and qualification requirements for each position. Ask the candidate manufacturers for corresponding parts against that same brief. Engineering then has comparable alternatives, and procurement can assess price, delivery and technical support on a common basis.

Compiled from public manufacturer material and recent disclosures. Product parameters and supply arrangements should be checked against current manufacturer documentation.
